Yaymates works because people show up honestly and treat each other well. Six things we ask of everyone.
Be real
One profile per person, your real name, honest answers. Your matches are deciding whether to live with you, so the real you is the only you that works.
Respect the yes
Intros only happen when both people agree. No pressure, no chasing people down outside the app, no taking a no personally.
Keep it kind
People of every faith, culture, background and orientation live here. Differences in how you live are matching criteria, never ammunition.
Chat with care
Keep conversations in the app until you're comfortable. Share your number, address or workplace only when you're ready.
Meet safely
First viewings in daylight, tell a friend where you're going, and trust your gut. If something feels off, it probably is.
Report what's wrong
Fake profiles, harassment, scams or pressure of any kind. One report and we look into it. Bad fits are gone for good.
